Client Excellence Awards Categories

Category 1 – Learning Strategy Innovation

Something new and impactful that changes your approach to training and drives results. The judges look for evidence of new techniques, strategies, methods, or combinations of existing technologies and solutions when judging this category. Examples may include introducing a mobile, developing a program for user generated content or a collaborative learning strategy. Additional points will be given where business outcomes are identified or highlighted as a result of solution alignment driven by business strategy.

Category 3 – Transformational HR

Companies that are truly successful in having business impact with HR strategy apply new, yet simple technologies and approaches across their entire HR process that have immediate impact & adoption with their employees. Thereby creating more overall value that links HR and talent strategy back to the business. These organisations recognise that an employee focused HR strategy is a KEY Business Driver and deserves a seat at the table. Examples include transforming your culture to impact market share or creating a strategy to unify HR processes across multiple business units or geographies. Or putting employee experience as a core requirement and focus.

Category 2 – Visionary in Performance Management

Is about engaging your employees to improve organisational effectiveness. Another way of looking at this is how do you tie various aspects of performance management together and make those processes more meaningful to your business, for example linking to development plans. Examples could include pay for performance, streamlining your performance by introducing competencies or introducing a rating-less continuous feedback review cycle.

Category 4 – Advancement in Reinventing Recruiting

How your recruiting function has evolved to maximise your employer brand to help attract the right quality and quantity of candidates, deliver a better candidate experience and hire the best people to prepare the organisation for future growth. Examples could include improving time to hire, rethinking your assessment and selection strategies, and innovative examples of recruitment marketing. Additional credit will be given where business outcomes are identified as a result of improved recruiting strategies.
